Air Purification & Heat Recovery
A Heat Recovery Ventilation system will save you money and reduce your energy requirements for heating by re-using the heat that is normally lost via standard extract systems. A Heat Recovery Ventilation system is designed to operate continuously at a low rate to minimise electrical energy consumption and provide your home with fresh air from outside with minimal heat loss. Filtered air gives a healthier home environment.

Benefits of a Mechanical Ventilation Heat Recovery (MVHR) System.
Filtered fresh air is circulated throughout your home day and night. On average most people spend over 80% of their time indoors. 50% of all illnesses are either caused by, or aggravated by poor indoor air quality. A heat recovery unit extracts polluted, moisture laden air from the home and replaces it with fresh, filtered outdoor air. An integral heat exchanger will take the heat from the stale extracted air and transfer it to the fresh incoming supply air. Although efficiencies vary typically a quality system will deliver fresh air into a dwelling and recover ~93% of the heat you would otherwise lose- dramatically reducing heat costs in the home.

Heat Recovery
A Heat Recovery Ventilation system will save you money and reduce your energy requirements for heating by re-using the heat that is normally lost via standard extract systems. A Heat Recovery Ventilation system is designed to operate continuously at a low rate to minimise electrical energy consumption. In Ireland, where home heating is essential, the heat recovery ventilator (HRV) keeps the home supplied with a steady flow of fresh outdoor air. As stale, warm air is expelled, the heat recovery core warms the incoming fresh, colder air before it is distributed throughout the home. The result is a constant supply of fresh air, no unpleasant drafts and greater home comfort.

Air Purification
Ventilation is a necessity. According to experts, whole-house ventilation and filtration effectively eliminate airborne pollutants and excess moisture, thereby protecting the health of your family and the structure of your home. A balanced mechanical ventilation system with heat recovery is an ideal way to protect your investment and keep your home comfortably healthy. Allergies and long-term health can all be affected negatively by the quality of the air inside your home. The air inside your home can be up to 10 times worse than the outside air. It is difficult for our immune system to keep up with all the particles, germs and gases that are locked inside energy-efficient homes.
At Air-Care AL LTD we believe in using The Best in Technology
Quality, Reliability, Installation & ease of Servicing with excellent backup & product support are the main reasons we choose to install Vent-Axia systems.
With over 80 years’ ventilation experience, Vent-Axia continues to lead the way in the development of new products and systems.
The Vent-Axia Pure Air sets the benchmark for high level filtration. It targets pollutants generated outside of the home, by traffic and industrial processes, and reduces these before supplying the air into the dwelling. The Vent-Axia Pure Air filter is fitted to the intake airflow and incorporates two types of filtration:
• Enhanced activated Carbon which removes unpleasant odours and harmful gasses such as Nitrous Oxide (NO2).
• ISO 65% Coarse (G4) or ePM2.5 (F7) particulate filters which can remove tiny airborne contaminants such as pollen, bacteria and even PM2.5 diesel particulates. The combination of MVHR and Vent-Axia Pure Air filtration offers the ideal indoor environment.

Quality & Reliability
A reliable, highly efficient, quiet and easy to operate ventilation system is therefore the key to unlocking a healthier, greener future. The centralised (MEV) and decentralised mechanical extract ventilation (dMEV) systems from Vent-Axia offer market leading efficiency across a range of products with an easy-to-operate control platform and extremely low operating noise.
CENTRALISED MECHANICAL EXTRACT VENTILATION (MEV)

CENTRALISED MECHANICAL EXTRACT VENTILATION (MEV)
Centralised Mechanical Extract Ventilation (MEV) is a whole dwelling ventilation system that supplies and extracts air continuously at a low rate. It is a low energy, continuous mechanical extract ventilation system designed with multiple extract points to simultaneously draw moisture laden air out of the wet rooms (bathrooms and kitchen) providing a quieter and more efficient system compared to separate fans.
Centralised Mechanical Extract Ventilation (MEV) is a system where a central unit is mounted in a loft or cupboard and ducted to extract polluted air from the wet rooms of the house. As there is no heat recovery, there is no requirement for any ducts to supply the replacement air. Instead, replacement air enters the home through window vents or airbricks. In many houses however, air naturally enters the building through gaps and cracks in the structure, providing adequate ventilation.

Nearly Zero Energy Building (NZEB)
‘Nearly Zero Energy Buildings’ means a building that has a very high energy performance. The nearly zero or very low amount of energy required should be covered to a very significant extent by energy from renewable sources, including energy from renewable sources produced on-site or nearby. The NZEB standard will apply to all new buildings occupied after the 31st December 2020.
